After highly annoying her for a week he came back from a work trip and decided to take her out for dinner. Still annoyed during dinner, she didn’t make any pleasant conversation. In fact, she didn’t even finish her food and wanted to leave. As soon as they got home Bongi changed into her PJs and jumped into bed. It was then that she noticed soft the R’nB playing in the living room. Curious but not wanting him to know, she pretended not to pay any attention to it. The bedroom door opened, Bathembu came in and asked her to join him in the living room. Still pretending not to care but still very curious she eventually followed him into the living room where he sat her down. By now she had an idea what was happening, and then even more so after seeing the wrapped box. He asked her to open the box …. He got down on knee and made a tear inducing speech, asking her to marry him… in her PJs. She said yes! Bongi got ready at her mom’s home – in a quaint little village just outside of Hogsback. Their ceremony took place at the St Patrick’s Chapel in Hogsback and the reception in Fort Beaufort. Soso Dekeda and her team from Jewel Weddings & Events did a fantastic job with organising the event. Decor – Occazions Hire. Flowers – Murambi Roses. Cake – Taylor Made Treats.
